I've never winced so quickly so often

There have been times when someone sent to me a viewing link on YouTube.com. Fine. IF I trust that person to pick something less than totally lame, I go-look-n-leave. In all these years, I've never gone "on my own" - until today.

It boils down to this: The first-world countries have SO convinced themselves their medias are not only goals, but the Ultimate Goal in achieving self-validation, that this effect, mixed with most of these same populations having a version of an idea of democracy equaling self-expression and entitlement, mixed with the incredible ease of self-publishing in the digital/web world, that YouTube is the perfect expression of our broad desperation, loneliness, loss of foundation, and need for approval.

It is one of the saddest sites on the planet.

FUTURES, established in 1990, specializes in the last 100 years of investment level high style furnishings, fine mid range collectibles, and profoundly low class kitsch.
